Since 1998, I have visited or stayed at more than 1,200 of the world’s best hotels in over 80 countries while I have lived on four continents in cities like New York, Cape Town, Bangkok, Shanghai and Berlin. I continue to inspect newly opened luxury hotels and update myself on the older ones.
